Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Barney’s Bash! Our annual end-of-the-year celebration brought together students, families, employees, and community members for a full day of fun, laughter, and connection. ☀️🎊

A special thank you to Glory Daze for an unforgettable lunchtime performance, Portland Taiko for bringing powerful energy to the evening, and the MHCC Jazz Ensembles for closing out the celebration with an amazing grand finale. We’re so grateful to all of our performers, volunteers, and attendees who helped make this event such a success. 🎶🥁

Please join us for MHCC's First Nations Student Union event: Indigenous Excellence in Education! 🎉

This is a community-centered gathering focused on uplifting Indigenous students through education, cultural connection, and supportive resources. We invite students, staff, and community members to come together in envisioning how the First Nations Student Union, MHCC, and the broader community can collaborate to support and empower Indigenous students.

Activities will include keynote speaker Will Miller, MHCC alum and current Board of Education member, delicious food, and cultural performances!

The MHCC Fisheries Technology Program students released roughly 3,000 fish into Mt. Hood Pond here on campus! 🐟 The fish are raised by our students from egg to legal size in the MHCC hatchery located at the Gresham campus, about a year's worth of consistent hard work by our students. 💪

Please check with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife to stay current and up-to-date on our local fishing laws! 🎣

To celebrate, we invited the community on campus for traditional live performances and delicious food from an array of cultures, bringing everyone to the table. THE SAINTS HAVE DONE IT! 🐾🥎

Our Mt. Hood Saints softball team battled their way to the top and are bringing home the 2026 NWAC Championship! After a big 5-run fifth inning, we claimed our 8th all-time NWAC title and third in the past five seasons! 🏆

To our student-athletes: you’ve made history and shown what it means to wear the Saints name with pride. The dogpile, the celebration, the championship trophy — you earned every moment of it. A huge congratulations to Head Coach Brittany Hendrickson on not only leading the Saints to a championship victory, but also earning an incredible 300th career win along the way!

MHCC Saints freshman Sadie Guyette has become the all-time leader in collegiate softball history for RBIs in a single season with her 130th RBI of the season.

Guyette currently leads the NWAC with a .580 batting average and has helped power the Saints to one of the top records in the conference heading into postseason play. “We are incredibly proud of Sadie and excited to celebrate this achievement with our entire community.” — Athletic Director Kim Hyatt

Barney’s Bash is your FREE, all-day ticket to fun, food, and unforgettable moments with family, friends, and the community. We’re talking free food, high-energy entertainment, and activities around every corner; from laser tag and bounce houses to a petting zoo, dunk tank, henna, a photobooth, and more! 🥳
