Good news!
If you currently have a UConn ID, you can exchange it one time, free of charge, for an updated preferred name on the card.

This applies to all students across the UConn campuses. If you wish to update your preferred name on the BACK of your One Card, you must updated this information through the ITS portal. The legal name will still remain on the front of the One Card. Once it has been updated to preferred name, students are entitled to one free replacement One Card
