Two weeks ago, we proudly celebrated the achievements of our latest graduating class at our 2026 Graduate Honors Ceremony. Recognizing students who excelled in their studies, showed promise in a specific area of law, or led with passion and professionalism, the broad array of awards bestowed at this event was a wonderful reminder of the countless ways in which a Stetson Law education can empower those who choose to study here.

Join us in congratulating student advocate Noor Algoul, a member of our Dispute Resolution team, for being one of five inaugural recipients of the 2026 Order of Barristers Scholarship.

The Order of Barristers originated in 1965 at The University of Texas at Austin School of Law. Each year, the Order honors graduating seniors who demonstrate outstanding ability in the preparation and presentation of advocacy at regional, national, and international interscholastic competitions.

The Order of Barristers Scholarship was created to recognize current law students who demonstrate exceptional legal advocacy performance. Noor was Stetson Law’s nominee for this prestigious award, supported by directors across all three of Stetson’s advocacy boards. This national recognition reflects her skill, dedication, and professionalism as a Stetson advocate.

We are incredibly proud of Noor and excited to see all that lies ahead!

Congratulations to our recent Elder Law Concentration graduates, including those pictured (left to right): Jeffery Ferrari, Taryn Rollins, Rachel Steinke, Peyton Stafford, Amanda Coonrod, and Timothy Snead.

Stetson Law is proud to be a destination for those passionate about assisting and advocating for older adults and people with disabilities.

Through its Certificate of Concentration in Elder Law program, Stetson's Center for Elder Justice invites students to sharpen their understanding of estate planning, trusts, accessibility compliance, and disability and health law during their JD journey.

Involvement in Stetson's Journal of Aging Law and Policy, scholarly work, one-on-one mentoring from experienced faculty and alumni, and other opportunities prepare students to excel in this growing area of practice.

On the eve of Stetson Law’s Spring 2026 Commencement, this community recognized those individuals who excelled in their studies and other law school activities. They represented Stetson at competitions. They gave generously of their time through pro bono work. They showed leadership in their community.

The ceremony culminated in the presentation of the Edward D. Foreman Most Distinguished Student Award, which was given to Evangelia Manias as she was surrounded by numerous past winners of this prestigious award.

It was a privilege to honor these graduating students - and a reminder of the bright futures they have ahead as Stetson Lawyers.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our newest Stetson Law graduates at The BayCare Sound on Saturday afternoon. Thanks to everyone who helped make this event an incredible success!

Congratulations again to our grads, and best of luck on the bar exam and in building a meaningful career with help from all you have learned in your time at Stetson Law!

The Stetson Law community proudly celebrates those whose law school journey culminates with today's commencement ceremony and festivities.
