Centenary University has named former professional pitcher and collegiate coach Tim Bausher as head coach of the Cyclones baseball program. Bausher, once a Boston Red Sox player, seeks to further the momentum developed during the 2026 Cyclone baseball season, attract student-athletes throughout the region, and compete for championships while emphasizing academic achievement, leadership development, and community engagement. “At Centenary University, we believe athletics is a powerful experience for developing leaders and transforming lives,” said President John Schol. “Coach Tim Bausher brings a remarkable combination of professional achievement, coaching success, and commitment to student development that will strengthen our baseball program and elevate the experience of every student-athlete he serves."
