HCC’s Environmental Club recently invited Susan Simonson from Antietam-Conococheague Watershed Alliance - ACWA to help identify flowering dogwoods and confirm they had viable seeds. Club members collected seeds on campus to be sent to the Maryland state tree nursery to support Maryland’s 5 Million Trees Initiative.🌳
