Congratulations to the 14 QU computer science teams from our school who traveled to the CCSCNE 2026 Conference in Northampton, Massachusetts and presented their research and development work through posters and demos. In total, 63 teams from universities and colleges across the Northeast participated in the conference. Their mentors and advisors also traveled to the conference to support our students (Brian O’Neill, Soumyashree Sahoo, Chetan Jaiswal).

The conference recognizes excellence in two major categories: Computing Research and Computing Applications, with first-, second-, and third-place awards in each category.

Our teams achieved a remarkable clean sweep of the Computing Applications category, winning first, second, and third place. In addition, another QU team earned third place in the Computing Research category. Altogether, our teams won 4 of the 6 awards presented at the conference.

Congratulations to all!
