I hope this letter finds you well. As the current president of the Epsilon Kappa Chapter of Kappa Alpha Order, I am writing to provide you with an update on our chapter’s activities and successes, and to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support.

Today, the brothers of KAEK lended a helping hand to the local food bank of Hammond. We are thankful for the opportunity Our Daily Bread has given us every semester to help those in need and give back to our community.

Happy Spring Break from the brothers of Epsilon Kappa! This week the brothers are taking their vacation at Panama City Beach, Florida. We will be back to school next week to finish the semester strong.

Yesterday morning, Epsilon Kappa and went to the local Hammond Fire Department and washed all the fire trucks and squad cars the department had. We all had a great time getting to know the first responders from our city and getting to help them out! Thank you to the chief for having us and we hope to be able to help out again soon.

This past weekend some of our brothers participated in AOII’s Strikeout Arthritis philanthropy event! They bowled and placed third amongst many other teams! Thanks to for hosting such a fun event!

This past Saturday, our own president, Collin Barrios, competed in a CFA research challenge in Dallas, TX. Collin led a team to research a company, then wrote a report to present against other colleges such as; Rice, Texas A&M, Texas State and more. We are proud of the excellence our brothers show in the classroom and out!

This weekend our chapters elected officers traveled to Dallas for Officer Training Conference to learn more about their newly elected roles. Epsilon Kappa was recognized with a certificate for their academic achievements for the Spring 2023 semester! Thank you to our Alumni Advisor Mr. John Houeye for attending the event with the chapter!

Last night Epsilon Kappa held our annual Convivium at The Cornet on Bourbon St. Thank you to all the alumni who attended and a special thanks to Alum Trent Crifasi for his generous donation.
