She's Miss Louisiana! 👑💚💛

Congratulations to Southeastern graduate student Shelby Bordelon on being crowned Miss Louisiana 2026!

Shelby has made the entire Lion family proud, and we can't wait to watch her represent Louisiana on the Miss America stage this September.

We're also celebrating Miss Southeastern 2025 Eva Delatte for an incredible Top 10 finish. Both women represented Southeastern with poise, passion, and excellence throughout the competition.

Big congratulations to SGA President Maria Nechaeva! 🦁💚

Maria has been selected to serve as a student member of the Louisiana Board of Regents, becoming the first Southeastern student in university history to be appointed to the board!

From advocating for Lions on campus to representing students across Louisiana, Maria is helping shape the future of higher education while continuing a historic legacy of leadership and service.
