We are saddened to announce the passing of a dedicated brother, mentor, and friend, Brandon Mulina. Brandon was a cornerstone in all of our lives and the embodiment of a Resolute Man. Brandon was a charter member of the Iota Delta Chapter, and he served as Chapter Advisor for many years. Even after eventually stepping down from that role, he continued to mentor and lead our chapter. Without Brandon, our chapter and brotherhood would not be here today. May he rest easy. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers in the days to come.

Visitation for Brandon will be held on Monday 8/21 from 5-9pm and continue on Tuesday at 9am until the funeral service at 11am at Crain Funeral Home 1109 Bene St. Franklinton, LA 70438.

We had an awesome day at Southeastern Louisiana University’s Big Event!

Our Brothers went to Calvary Christian Center and spent the morning raking leaves, clearing paths, and chipping paint off tables. These efforts will help the center be prepared for picnic season in the upcoming months.

Theta Chi Fraternity really enjoyed welcoming students back to school while volunteering at Southeastern Wesley today! This organization provides free lunch to Southeastern Louisiana University students every Wednesday from 11:30-1:30pm. Hope to see you there sometime!

Today was Southeastern Louisiana University’s Big Event where campus organizations volunteer in our community together. It’s funny how things work, because we got to help out our own local charity, the Hammond Regional Arts Center! It was great to be able to help get them started on their spring cleaning!

It’s always a good time volunteering for our local non-profit, the Hammond Regional Arts Center. Thanks to everyone who came to support them for Art of the Cocktail! Special thanks to the restaurants and bars that participated and a big congratulations to Tacos and Beer for winning both categories!

Parish President Robby Miller was eager to discuss Operation Blue Roof with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers today. The purpose of Operation Blue Roof is to provide homeowners and permanently occupied rental properties in disaster areas with fiber-reinforced sheeting to cover their damaged roofs until arrangements can be made for permanent repairs. This is a free service to homeowners. protects property, reduces temporary housing costs, and allows residents to remain in their homes while recovering from the storm.
