Today, we're spotlighting Ramón Cole! 💚

Why Southeastern? 🦁
"I transferred to Southeastern Louisiana University to be closer to home, which allows me to stay connected to my support system while also focusing on growing my business. Being closer has made it easier for me to balance school while actively building and managing my entrepreneurial ventures.
I enjoy being at Southeastern because of the supportive environment and the opportunities to get involved both academically and socially. As a Business (Entrepreneurship) major, I’m able to apply what I learn in the classroom directly to real-world experiences. I’m also a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. through the Alpha Delta Epsilon (ADE) chapter, which has helped me build strong connections, leadership skills, and a sense of brotherhood on campus."

"I transferred because I just needed a change, and Hammond is a great community full of great people, and I’ve made lifelong friends at Southeastern. I was playing football at Millsaps, and I wanted to get closer to home, and Southeastern was the best option with a lovely campus and people."

Today, we're spotlighting Fred McDowell! 💚

Why Southeastern? 🦁
"I transferred to Southeastern to get closer to home. I am from Independence, LA, but I went out of state to play football. I love the unity and close community. I am very close to members in the OSE, such as Mrs. Adonica and Mr. Darius, who have made my transition a lot smoother. I just love the environment of everything."
