Indiana National Guard Soldiers:NGSG application are now submitted online. Paper applications are not long accepted. Applications for Spring 2018 are now available.

National Guard Supplemental Grant (NGSG) applications for spring 2018 are now being accepted! If you have already submitted an application for Fall 2017 and indicated on that application that you plan to use the NGSG for the spring semester you do not need to reapply. Those applications will be reprocessed for this upcoming spring semester. Those who have not applied, this is the time to do so. The NGSG is a first come first serve grant, we encourage Soldiers to apply ASAP to guarantee funds.

National Guard Supplemental Grant applications must be submitted via the new state ScholarTrack website. Students can create a ScholarTrack account via http://scholars.in.gov/new-scholartrack-for-estudent/. This account will also allow applicants to monitor the status of their applications and awards. Service Members must apply for the NGSG NLT 5 days prior to the start of classes. Please review the NGSG information sheet for additional details.

All National Guard Service Members who are eligible for Federal Tuition Assistance (FTA) are required to use it prior to applying for the NGSG. FTA eligible Soldiers must apply for and have FTA approved NLT 5 business days prior to the start of their classes.

New Information!!! If you are in need of monetary funds here are two places to go.
Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs Military Family Relief Fund; You may be awarded a grant $2,500.00. This fund is available to all veterans and service members who have served 12 months of active duty time during a national conflict and/or war time, with honorable discharge and reside in Indiana. Please refer to Indiana Code 10-17-12 for more details on the law pertaining to the Military Family Relief Fund. More information call Arianne Jimenez 317-234-9615.
