Join the Ladies of the Gamma Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. today at 5:13 PM in the Student Center Ballroom for our Book Scholarship Pitch Competition! Please do not arrive prior to 5 pm.

As we celebrate 79 years of Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service, and Social Action on the campus of Hampton University, we’re excited to give back to our community in a new way.

This year, the application process looks a little different. Instead of a traditional submission, your entry will be a live pitch. Your response will serve as your official entry into the competition.

Selected recipients will be notified on February 14th, 2026.

We look forward to hearing your ideas and continuing our legacy of supporting student success.

Business Casual is acceptable.

RUSH Announcement

Ladies can still register and attend Rush tomorrow with a valid HU ID. The Spring 2026 sticker is no longer required at this time.

Spring 2026 Rush will take place tomorrow, January 16, in the Student Center Ballroom. Doors open at 5:00 PM, and the event will begin promptly at 6:13 PM. Please do not arrive earlier than 4:45 PM.

Welcome to our first stop on our tour, where we visit the Educational Development Exhibit!

Join the ladies of the Gamma Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. tonight at 7:13 pm in the Student Center Atrium for our GI Archives: Trivia Night! Come ready to test your African American knowledge and learn more about our history and culture.

We encourage all participants to bring a book to support our book drive for a local Hampton elementary school. The attire for the event is Black inspired. We look forward to seeing you wear your favorite black-owned brands.
