๐โจ STUDENT SPOTLIGHT | EARLIN AVANT MOORE, JR. โจ๐
The Hampton University School of Religion (HUSOR) is proud to spotlight Earlin Avant Moore, Jr., a student in the Master of Divinity in Pastoral Leadership program. Beginning his journey in Fall 2025 and anticipating graduation in 2027, Earlin views his time at Hampton as both a privilege and a response to Godโs continued call on his life.
As his first HBCU experience, Hampton has broadened Earlinโs theological perspective, strengthened his faith, and challenged him to grow as a scholar and servant leader. HUSORโs guiding principle, โScholarship is Ministry,โ continues to shape his educational and spiritual journey.
Earlin holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and an M.A. in Administration and Leadership from SUNY Plattsburgh. For more than 22 years, he has served as Owner and CEO of Moore & Torrence Bookkeeping and Tax Services, Inc., viewing his business as a marketplace ministry and an opportunity to encourage, pray with, and serve others.
His commitment to ministry extends across the globe, including mission work in Haiti and Israel and leading a revival in Rajahmundry, India. ๐๐๐พ
Guided by Isaiah 43:26 and Isaiah 55:11, Earlin remains grounded in prayer and confident in the power and faithfulness of Godโs Word. Inspired by John 9:4 and Matthew 5:14, he sees his Hampton experience as preparation for even greater Kingdom service.
๐โ The Hampton University School of Religion celebrates Earlinโs dedication to faith, scholarship, leadership, and service. We look forward to seeing how God continues to use his gifts to make an impact in the Church, the marketplace, and communities around the world.
