Congratulations to this year’s Wallace State Future Foundation scholarship recipients:

Adyson Wallace, recipient of the City of Cullman Endowed Scholarship, and Dylan Williams, and Dailyn Scott, recipients of the City of Cullman Industrial Development Board Endowed Scholarship.

The City of Cullman Endowed Scholarship supports local students pursuing their education at Wallace State Community College, while the Industrial Development Board Endowed Scholarship invests in students preparing for high-demand, workforce-focused careers that strengthen our local economy.

These scholarships reflect a shared commitment to supporting students, building opportunity, and preparing a skilled workforce for Cullman’s future.

Congratulations again to Adyson, Dylan, and Dailyn on this achievement.

This Community College Month, we’re highlighting Wallace State alumnus Shawn Doss (Class of ’93). After earning his degree in Drafting and Design, Shawn spent years in civil engineering before founding Hope Missions, Inc., which mobilized more than 6,000 volunteers worldwide. Today, he continues serving through ministry resources and local businesses in Cullman & Jasper.
