Dartmouth Earth and Planetary Sciences

Dartmouth Earth and Planetary Sciences The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences (EAPS) at Dartmouth is devoted to the study of the natural world.

Working with a tight-knit faculty, our students take courses and pursue research under the broad category of 'environmental geosciences'. To all current students and Alumni of the Dartmouth Earth Science Department:

This group is designed to keep Students and Alumni of Dartmouth Earth Sciences connected and in touch. Through posts, photos and links, stay updated on the current events around the d

epartment, the Stretch schedule each fall, and our newsletters. To Alums - let us know what you're up to and post to the group, pictures are welcome too.

Today many of our EAPS undergraduates (some shown here) presented their work at the Karen E. Wetterhahn Science Symposium. This annual Symposium is Dartmouth’s opportunity to celebrate STEM at Dartmouth and to recognize the efforts of their undergraduate researchers. Notably, two of our undergrads won 2nd & 3rd place for their Senior Honors Theses! Congratulations to Caleb Saks and Jacob Schnell!
