Today we celebrate College Decision Day and the bold futures ahead for area graduating seniors.
The men of the Delta Alpha Omega Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., alongside the DAO Impact Foundation, proudly recognize each student stepping into their next chapter—college, career, service, and beyond.
Inspired by the vision of Michelle Obama and supported through the Better Make Room initiative, this moment is about more than a decision—it’s about access, opportunity, and the belief that every student belongs in spaces where they can grow and thrive.
We are especially proud to share that 5 students in attendance was awarded the Delta Alpha Omega Chapter Lyonel J. Streat Scholarship, a reflection of our continued commitment to investing in their futures and supporting their journeys beyond high school.
“Make room” isn’t just a message—it’s a mindset. Make room for your goals. Make room for your purpose. Make room for the future you deserve. And as you rise, continue to open doors and create space for others to follow.

What a weekend at the Iota Derby 2026!
The men of the Delta Alpha Omega Chapter delivered an event that perfectly blended style, energy, and purpose. From start to finish, it was a true reflection of brotherhood and excellence.
But beyond the atmosphere, the impact matters most. This event helped raise awareness and support for post-secondary opportunities, continuing the commitment to invest in the next generation and open doors for future leaders.
Appreciation to everyone who came out and contributed to something meaningful.
