Their sacrifice, courage, and commitment to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten. As Omega Men, we proudly recognize the legacy of military service and leadership within our fraternity and communities.

Today, we also honor the families who continue to carry the weight of that sacrifice with strength and pride. May we continue to live by the principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift, while serving our communities with purpose and integrity. His vision, scholarship, leadership, and commitment to service helped lay the foundation for a brotherhood that continues to inspire generations of Omega Men. Through the cardinal principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift, his legacy remains a guiding light for all who proudly wear the Purple and Gold.

A Powerful Day of History, Brotherhood, and Mentorship.

Today, the Fatherhood & Mentorship Program had the honor of taking 21 young men to the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. This was more than a trip. It was a day of learning, reflection, and connection. To the parents and guardians, thank you for trusting your young men with the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Your confidence in us means everything, and we do not take that responsibility lightly.

To the young men, thank you for representing yourselves, your families, and the program with respect. You were well-behaved, engaged, and attentive throughout the trip. We are proud of how you carried yourselves.

To the 19 Brothers from Harrisburg and York, PA, thank you for taking time out of your day to es**rt, guide, teach, and pour into these young men as they experienced this powerful piece of history. Your presence made a lasting impact.

Fatherhood & Mentorship (Yesterday’s Impact)

Although I didn’t get a chance to post yesterday, I didn’t want to let the moment pass without acknowledging the impact. Yesterday’s session was another meaningful step forward for our Fatherhood & Mentorship Program. We had 7 young men present for our continued Black History conversation, and the discussion was thoughtful and engaging.
*
We talked about legacy, responsibility, and understanding the strength and resilience we come from. Black History is not just about learning names and dates it’s about recognizing the standard of excellence that has been set and choosing to live up to it.
*
After the discussion, the young men learned how to tie a tie a simple but powerful lesson. It represents preparation, confidence, discipline, and stepping into manhood. Presentation matters. Growth matters. The details matter.

Thank you to the Bruhz who showed up and poured into these young men. Your time, patience, and leadership do not go unnoticed.

A Powerful Session Today

Today was a great day for our Fatherhood & Mentorship Program. We had 18 young men show up, participate, and fully engage and that’s exactly what we love to see. The conversation centered on Manhood what it truly means and how it shows up in everyday decisions. The Bruhz spoke about knowing when to walk away from situations that lead to trouble. Real strength isn’t always about standing your ground; sometimes it’s about having the wisdom and discipline to step back.

We discussed the importance of living your life in a way that allows you to grow wiser understanding that every decision shapes your future. Being wise enough to pause, think, and choose the better path is a mark of maturity and leadership. The engagement from these young men was encouraging. They asked questions, shared perspectives, and leaned into the discussion with respect and focus.

This is what building men looks like. We’re proud of each of them and grateful for the commitment of our Brothers and families who continue to support this work.
