The current climate we are in is one of change and emotion. We know that being stuck at home can make it feel like you’re not “doing anything” and this can lead to frustration and other not-so-great feelings. This week our organization decided to do our part from home and fundraise for Americares.
Americares is “a health-focused relief and development organization that responds to people affected by poverty or disaster with life-changing medicine, medical supplies and health programs.”
Currently, their top concern is the capacity of under-resourced health centers to respond to the pandemic and their solution is to create new trainings in infection prevention/control and distribute much needed protective equipment.
