There is still time! We are accepting nominations through Monday March 15th, and if you need an extension, please let us know.

All Together One nominations are open!

The spirit at James Madison University is special. Ask any student or alumni and they'll tell you so. In years past it's been called "The Spirit of Blue Stone Hill," "The Madison Way" and "The JMU Way." In his inaugural speech on September 17, 1999, President Rose described it as "all together one." By whatever name, this special spirit is the unique closeness that binds the James Madison University community with one another. It is a feeling of caring, a commitment to working together, a dedication to learning. There is a camaraderie on the campus that is rarely - perhaps nowhere else - found at a university the size of James Madison University.

We invite you to nominate faculty, staff, students – any member of the JMU community is eligible to nominate or be nominated for the Spring 2021 All Together One award. NOMINATIONS DEADLINE: Monday, March 15th, 2021 by 12:00 noon.
Please email your nominations as an attachment to [email protected]. You may use the following ideas to help structure your nomination:

1. building community
2. inspiring others
3. a caring attitude
4. dedication to learning
5. a commitment to working together through collaboration
6. unique contributions of the nominee
