Interested in Travel Abroad? The Transportation & Urban Engineering and Geography departments are offering a study abroad opportunity to travel to Zurich, Switzerland and discuss sustainability.

This program aims to provide students with a solid foundation in seminal literature on sustainable planning paradigms from both a theoretical and applied perspective, and to introduce them to emerging debates in sustainable transportation and sustainable cities as well as provide students with an opportunity to collaborate in an interdisciplinary setting to broaden their perspectives and experience.

UCS Students, are you interested in social sciences, humanities, and/or arts research? Are you looking for a way to get some experience?

The SHARE Virtual Research Apprenticeship Program provides opportunities for students with little or no prior research experience to assist faculty with their research over the summer. Apprentices will receive a $1000 stipend for 90 hours of remote work on a SHARE project over the summer.

Eligibility:
Eligibility is limited to students in their first four semesters at UConn (this includes spring 2022) who are majoring or pre-majoring in social sciences, humanities, and/or arts disciplines at any UConn Campus.

Students from underrepresented backgrounds, 1st generation students, and/or students with financial need are encouraged to apply.

Join Cornell University’s Department of City and Regional Planning for our FINAL Fall 2021 Graduate Program Virtual Information Session, Wednesday, December 8, at 10:00am EST!

This hour-long session will be presented by faculty from the Department of City and Regional Planning, focusing on the Master of Regional Planning (M.R.P.) and M.A. Historic Preservation Planning program. We will discuss program structure and strengths, financial aid, and the application evaluation process – among other topics curated for the specific interest of graduate students. There will be plenty of time for Q&A at the end of the session, so you can expect to get answers to all your toughest questions!
