Trinity College Engineering Department

Trinity College Engineering Department Located in the Roy Nutt Mathematics, Engineering & Computer Science Center

Trinity College has been committed to engineering instruction for over 100 years, offering civil and mechanical engineering courses as early as 1856. Today, Trinity is one of just a few highly selective liberal arts colleges that offers two engineering degree paths: a Bachelor of Science degree, accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org, and a Bachelor of

Arts in Engineering Science degree. These degrees prepare students for careers in industry and for further study in engineering graduate programs or post-graduate schools of law, medicine, and business.

For every plate that leaves, there’s one less plate to eat on in Mather.
Download the ReUser app, start using reusable containers, and leave plates for all the other Bantams who want to eat at Mather.
If you do have some stacked up plates in your room, please try and return them!
The reusable containers are now available at the Bistro and the Cave upon requesting the cashier.
Link to download the app in bio!

A series of talks by your fellow Computer Science and Computer Engineering students as well as alumni and external speakers. The talks will be focused on internship and job experiences and opportunities.

Today's meeting, #4 in our series, we will have two speakers who will share their summer internship experiences.

Sandy Ofori: Sandy is a senior in the Engineering department, concentrating in the biomedical field. In the summer of 2022, she had the opportunity of interning with Supira Medical, a medical device start-up in Campbell, California as an R&D intern with a focus on designing and machining fixtures, and testing material properties of percutaneous ventricular assist device.

Hanyang Luo: Hanyang Luo is a junior student in the Computer Science department. In summer 2022, he worked with Hybrid Pathways, a cloud security consulting company in Hartford, Connecticut as a software engineering intern. His work involved building a web application responsible for storing and executing cloud security auditing scripts.

We are excited for these upcoming talks and hope you will join us to take advantage of this unique opportunity. We extend a warm welcome to students majoring in Mathematics and anyone else who might be interested. Please feel free to spread the word and bring a friend!
