Kalmia Gardens of Coker University has officially joined the national Kids in Parks TRACK Trail network! 🌿The new TRACK Trail kiosk — located near the entrance to the Fairy Trail behind the Joslin Education Center — gives young visitors an interactive starting point for exploration, complete with a trail map and activity brochures.

The kiosk was funded through a grant from BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and Diabetes Free SC.

Kalmia Gardens is free and open to the public every day. Come explore! 🌸

Congratulations to Nate Gulledge, Associate Professor of Art, on being named a recipient of the 2026 SCICU Excellence in Teaching Award!

An award-winning designer, photographer, and visual artist, Professor Gulledge serves as Coker's Art Program Coordinator and Faculty Senate Vice Chair. He has developed new concentrations and curricula across Fine Art, Graphic Design, and Photography — and his work has earned recognition from the London International Creative Competition, Paris Design Awards, Graphis, and beyond.

SCICU honors outstanding faculty from each of its 20 member institutions with a $3,000 professional development grant. We're proud to have Professor Gulledge representing Coker University among this year's honorees.

Adventure is coming to Kalmia Gardens.

Kalmia Gardens is excited to join the national Kids in Parks TRACK Trail network, creating new opportunities for children and families to explore, learn, and connect with nature.

Join us Tuesday, May 12, at noon at the Joslin Education Center for a ribbon-cutting celebration as we officially launch the new TRACK Trail experience at Kalmia Gardens.

The TRACK Trail program encourages outdoor discovery through interactive activities designed to get kids moving, learning, and exploring the natural world.

Meadow Morse, a December 2025 grad, has received a Fulbright U.S. Student Program award to teach English in Bulgaria for the 2026-2027 academic year. A dedicated student-athlete and campus leader, Meadow will be the first Fulbright recipient placed at her host school.
