Do you have a group of friends, a Bible study, a men’s group, or another small group that would enjoy spending a couple of hours serving together?

RISE is having a Volunteer Yard Work Day this Saturday, September 12, from 9:00–11:00 a.m., and we’d love to have you join us.

We’ll be working outside around RISE, getting some much-needed yard work done. Come by yourself or bring a group. Two hours can make a big difference!

Sixty years on, we come together to remember the life, legacy, and enduring impact of Vernon Dahmer.

Join the Southern Miss School of Media and Communication on Thursday, September 10, for a special documentary screening and community conversation featuring Dennis Dahmer, son of Vernon Dahmer; award-winning documentary filmmaker Charles Stuart; Mississippi Today investigative journalist Jerry Mitchell; and Southern Miss Associate Professor Dr. Rebecca Tuuri, who will moderate the conversation.
