A STAR IS BORN ⭐️
Congratulations to NECC ‘s Mirrorajah Metcalfe for advancing to the ‘Irene Ryans Finals’ featuring the top 16 student actors in Region I, 2025.
Mirrorajah was awarded alternate to the winner and won ‘Best Classical Actor’ for her hilarious interpretation of Petruchio from Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew.
Congratulations to her scene partner, Ana Barrera for a spicy Katherine!
Last year, NECC THEATER was selected to remount and present our production of “Hurricane Diane” for the Region. The show went on to receive 13 national awards from the Kennedy Center in April 2024.
