The Academic Placement and Testing Center administers state mandated assessments (ACCUPLACER), Health Profession Testing (ATI TEAS for Nursing and Allied Health and the Advanced Placement RN Fundamentals Assessment ), as well as Remote and Proctored testing for on-line students. We are a certified CLEP & DSST Test Center, a Massachusetts state certified HSE Test Center for both HiSET and GED, a Pe

arson VUE Authorized Test Center and a Kryterion Authorized Testing Center. In addition, we also provide prior learning assessments including Credit Evaluation, Portfolio Review, Military Credit Evaluation and Challenge Testing for academic credit through Credit for Life Learning. The Academic Placement & Testing Center is a member of the National College Testing Association. Northern Essex Community College is deemed a “Military Friendly School“.
