We are Revolutionaries Advocating for Greener Ecosystems, a student sustainability org passionately working towards a greener future at Chabot College.

We are Revolutionaries Advocating for Greener Ecosystems. RAGE is a student-led organization at Chabot College in Hayward, CA working to change the culture of convenience and the framing of sustainability, starting on our college campus. We work with Chabot's students, faculty and staff, as well as our local communities, in order to facilitate a shift in our consciousness to reduce consumption and

waste for environmental sustainability. We aim to achieve these goals through extensive research, partnerships on- and off-campus, and engaging students, faculty and staff with countermarketing campaigns. We have 5 areas of focus, which we call strategies:
1) Plastic
2) Water
3) Food
4) Waste
5) Energy

Our goals:
~Research and describe the current state of our ecosystems
~Create awareness and educate college and community
~Network and partner with faculty/staff and community
~Discover and advocate for viable alternatives to excessive waste and consumption practices

Tomorrow is the start of our Vegan Monday challenge! From now until Earth Day, we will be going on a plant based diet on Mondays to help promote healthy eating and sustainability. 🌱

MLK Day of Service

Join the MLK Day of Service with the City of Oakland, Public Works of Oakland, and council member Noel Gallo Monday, January 21st from 9:00AM to 1:00PM located at 1001 Fruitvale Ave. Oakland. Not only is this a great event where the community gets together to serve, but it's a great volunteer work to do before things start to get hectic in our school semester. If interested, volunteers are advised to bring water and wear sturdy shoes.
