Hello everyone! Happy Indigenous Peoples Heritage Month. In honor of this month, we are hosting a panel presentation at the CORE Building in Room 301 on November 7, 2024, from 12:15 PM until 1:00 PM. The speakers will be Linda Dobb, our moderator, Marjorie Rhodesousley, our Campus CalNAGPRA Coordinator, Daniel No, Facilities, and Jana Sofia Arella Ramos, ASI Director of Sustainability. Please join us as we talk about the different acknowledgment efforts and programs you can be involved in on and off campus!

Please share this information with your classmates and peers as well. With this month especially, take these opportunities to learn and acknowledge the history, sufferings, sacrifices, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples. It is also a time of reflection on how we can be involved in supporting and advocating for their community issues. We hope to see you then!

Election Night Coverage: Catch local, state, and national updates with us from 5 PM - 9 PM at North UU RM 311. Food, games, and discussions await!
Late Night at Pioneer Heights: Wind down with friends in a cozy atmosphere from 9 PM - 11 PM at the Lassen Community Room. Snacks provided!
Post-Election, Nov 6th:

Election Hangover: Reflect, relax, and recharge with calming crafts and community support from 10 AM - 2 PM at North UU RM 311.
Rejuvenation @ The RAW: Shake off stress with Zumba and yoga from 5:30 PM - 8 PM. Limited passes available for non-RAW members.

We are introducing the 🧙‍♀️Waste Wizards 🧙‍♀️ for this month’s Sustainability Spotlight!

Join us at the Pioneer Kitchen on October 31 🎃 at 12:30 until 1:30 PM to learn about food waste reduction and management during this week of World Sustainability Day! You can also talk to the Director of Sustainability, Jana Ramos, about any issues or concerns about sustainability in our community you want to bring attention to! CSSA plenary at Cal State University Monterey was an incredible success. We discussed new implementation of Title IX and Civil Rights at each campus. We’re also excited to announce that 13/14 bills that CSSA supported was signed by Governor Gavin Newsom!

Come to our ASI Board of Directors Meeting to learn more about upcoming initiatives and events on our campus!

We are eager to continue our duty to advocate for the students at Cal State East Bay!
