Karen loves working with and helping others. From the First-Time Homebuyer to the “move-up” buyer or the owner being foreclosed upon - Karen believes each client and transaction is unique and should be handled with sensitive care. Specializing in residential properties, Karen enjoys working with all price points and personalities. One of the things that she likes most about this industry is meetin
g new people, developing new business partnerships and making new friends. Karen began her Real Estate career in 2002 while living with her young family in Southeastern Washington State. It was there she learned that surrounding one’s self with those who have common goals and business ethics not only benefits herself, but those she represents and who trust her to know the market and industry. Originally from the small mountain town of Mariposa, California, Karen spent her youth snow-skiing in Yosemite, horseback riding and falling in love with the art of photography. Karen attended Fresno State University before meeting her husband and moving with him to his hometown of Helena. When their 3 children were very young, they lived in Washington for a short time before relocating back to Helena to continue raising them. Matt and Karen’s two boys attended Capital High school where they were active in choir, football, wrestling and Babe Ruth Baseball. Matt and Karen’s daughter is currently enrolled at Capital High where she participates in advanced choir. She is also a passionate theatre student at the local community theatre. Matt and Karen are long standing volunteers with the Last Chance Stampede; Matt as a Rodeo Committee member and Karen as the Parade Chairperson. Together, the entire family enjoys camping, outdoor activities, Sunday Football, and treasured backyard BBQ’s. They take advantage of every chance to spend time together and even play coed adult softball together. Karen’s interests include travel, photography, hiking, serving the community, and attending live theatre – either with her daughter or watching her on stage. Karen also enjoys introducing her young grandson to all of her favorite pastimes and watching him fall in love with them, too
