That’s exactly what this team did yesterday. While the outcome was not what we wanted, we fought until the end. 10 innings of fight, grit, and passion. Seniors, we will miss you! You left your mark on this program. Time for us to rest, recover, and then get to work for next year! As always, Go Lady Lions!! 🦁

30 minutes after winning their first game of the day, the No. 1 seed Central Methodist (Mo.) University Eagles unleashed a six-run second inning to punch their ticket to the regional final with a 9-1 victory over the hosting No. 3 Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions in six innings.

On the first day of the 2023 NAIA Softball Nation Championship, the No. 3 seed Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University Lady Lions and the No. 2 seed Ottawa (Kan.) University Braves in a game with action at the beginning at the end before FHU claimed a 5-4 victory in the seventh inning.

Game 1 ✅ Bomb Squad came CLUTCH… Kennedy Harris-Bennett started the game with a lead-off bomb & Sophie Dunavant came in clutch with a go-head bomb in the top of the 7th. The Lady Lions defeated the Braves 5-4.
