The final member of our coaching staff to be introduced is Henderson native Colton Evans.

Earlier this evening [6/4/25], we held our annual end of the year dinner banquet at the Lumber Yard Event Center. There was a great crowd of families and players in attendance. Certificates were handed out to players for both Academic All-State (3.75+ GPA) and Academic Honorable Mention (3.2+ GPA), as well as Athletic Achievement certificates for those who qualified for a Varsity Letter.
We’d like to say a special thank you to the Lumber Yard for hosting the event as well as to Ashley Kellen, Lexi Kellen, and Abbey Church for their hard work in setting up and decorating the venue.

On Wednesday, the Varsity Colonels defeated the Union County Braves, by a score of 7-2, to become the 2025 District Champions!

It was a great day for baseball today at B.T. Wayne Field. After being unable to play for a week due to rain-outs, the Varsity Colonels came back with a vengeance against the Union County Braves with a final score of 21-11 on 19 base hits (including a home run apiece for Hunter Evans and Brody Belt).
The Jr. Varsity Colonels were also victories against the Jr. Varsity Braves by a score of 6-5.
We are scheduled to play Apollo High School on Monday at home at 6 pm.

Tonight’s Varsity baseball game vs the Union County Braves has been cancelled and re-scheduled for this Saturday (5/10) at 11 am.

It’s official. Tonight’s game has been cancelled. We will have Senior Night another day, but which day that will be hasn’t been determined yet.

It’s Senior Night tonight! Put on your maroon and white and come out to celebrate our senior baseball players in one of their last Colonel games at B.T. Wayne field! Introductions are tentatively scheduled for 5:40 pm.
Full disclosure: it has not been decided whether or not the Varsity Colonels will be able to play at
B.T. Wayne Field today (due to wet field conditions), but if we are able to play, the game time will be pushed back to 6 pm.
We will post when a final decision is made about the game.

The Varsity Colonels were scheduled to play the Hancock County Hornets this evening, but as one could probably
guess— the game has been cancelled due to weather.

Tomorrow night, the Colonels are scheduled to play University Heights Academy Blazers at B.T. Wayne Field for Senior Night. Make plans to come out and support our Senior baseball players in their last official season as a Colonel baseball player. First pitch is schedule for
5:30 pm, but the player recognition will begin approximately 20-30 minutes beforehand.

The Varsity and Jr Varsity Colonels are scheduled to play the Owensboro Catholic Aces beginning at 11 am this morning (JV game to follow the Varsity game) at Owensboro’s Chautauqua Park (as long as the 🌧️ holds off). 🤞

The Varsity Colonels are scheduled to play the Madisonville-North Hopkins High School Maroons today at 5:30 pm.
Coach Arndt is keeping a close eye on multiple weather radar sources for rain chances, but they aren’t all predicting the same weather outcome. He said he will wait until 3:45 pm to make a final determination as to whether or not we will play tonight’s game or call it in anticipation of rain/storms. As of now, the field is in good enough shape to play baseball. 🤞⚾️🤞⚾️
