Barter Theatre: Great Art Belongs to Everyone

Hear from Katy Brown, Producing Artistic Director, Barter Theatre!

Katy Brown was named Barter’s fourth Producing Artistic Director in October of 2019. During her time at Barter she has served as Associate Artistic Director, Head of Casting, Artistic Director of the Barter Players, actor, director, choreographer, set designer, costume designer, dramaturge, teacher, tour coordinator, dresser, spot light operator-- you name it. She has directed more than 100 professional productions. Join her to learn about the history of the Barter Theatre, state theatre of Virginia, and how it continues to serve the region today.
