Lark Fest is an annual celebration of student achievement throughout the academic year. This year several theatre scholars and students who have been involved in our department received awards.
Sr. Theatre scholar and aviation student, Sam Setiawan, received the Standing O award. The Standing O award honors a graduating student who has been instrumental to the success of the theatre program as both a technician and an actor, creating a most well-rounded artist. Selection criteria include a minimum GPA of 3.0, significant backstage theatre contributions, onstage experience, positive attitude and professionalism in theatre and campus-wide culture. Sam has been a theatre scholar since his freshman year at HC and has been on-stage for 5 productions, and has served as a board op, stage manager, and most recently: lead carpenter for XANADU. Sam has also received a commendation from the American College Theatre Festival for achievement in Stage Management for our fall production of Journey to the Poles of Inaccessibility. Congratulations, Sam!
Fr. Theatre Scholar and IDS student, Constance Feldt, was recognized again for her achievement of Best of Show for her submission into the most recent art show.
