Last March I had a chance to fire "Buddy" (the single chamber kiln out at Rich's place) with Rich Briggs, Jason Brown, and some of their students. Firing a wood kiln with these guys has always been one of my greatest joys.

Got this little bottle out of it! The design is based on historic beer bottles from the Utah territory. The decoration is an oxide geometric jackal and a scribed moon.

If you have any pictures of recent work, or some throw-backs, consider sharing them with the group. It would be great to see what everyone has been working on. And, if you have friends from the program who aren't part of the group, let's get them an invite. Thanks!

C'mon friends of BYU-Idaho 3D Alumni! We need you to pass the word about this group on to others you know who have been through the program.

Also, Rich's show is coming up. If you plan to participate, Rich needs information (Title, medium, size, dollar value) by May 1st and the work by June 1st. Feel free to send us some teaser pics to post here too.

If you plan to visit the show, let everyone know so we can try to coordinate our visits. It'd be great to catch up!
