On Friday, NKU was honored to celebrate the graduation of the third and fourth cohorts of the Joint Master of Science in Cybersecurity Program alongside our valued partner, წმ. ანდრიას ქართული უნივერსიტეტი • SANGU! 🎓

This year, 47 graduates earned their degrees. We’d like to extend our congratulations to Outstanding Student Award recipients Sophie Katamadze and Luka Baklaga, who were recognized by MS Cybersecurity Program Director Wei Hao.

The ceremony featured remarks from Rector Irakli Brachuli and Dean Kevin Kirby, as well as a special speech from UK Ambassador to Georgia, Gareth Ward.

We are proud of our graduates and grateful for the continued success of this international partnership which strengthens cybersecurity education and prepares the next generation of leaders to address global challenges. Congratulations, graduates! 🇬🇪

NKU was proud to partner with წმ. ანდრიას ქართული უნივერსიტეტი • SANGU for the Second Tbilisi International Cybersecurity Conference today!

The conference featured leaders from NKU and SANGU, reps from business and government, and alums from the NKU-SANGU dual MS in Cybersecurity.

Dean Kirby was on a panel on Academia and Cybersecurity led by David Ellery from the Changing Character of War Centre at Oxford University. Dean Kirby also led a panel on AI and Cybersecurity. The Women in Cybersecurity panel featured two alums from the NKU-SANGU program. NKU MS Cybersecurity Program Director Wei Hao gave a research talk to conclude the conference.
