Due to low participation the Psychology Club suspended activities in April 2023. A minimum of 15 students currently enrolled at the college need to commit to participate in order to resume club activities. Many thanks to the students who have participated over the years and the great memories. When there is active student participation, the club is lots of fun. The advisors hope to see the club rejuvenated in the future.

Contact a club faculty advisor if you are interested in resuming this club.

This semester, I issued a challenge to my PSY 101 students to earn a perfect score on all quizzes and practice tests for the entire semester. Students complete a 3-4 item quiz every day at the end of class and a practice test before each exam. Students had unlimited opportunities to take the quizzes, which presented them with different questions each attempt, to earn a perfect score before it was due. Out of 75 students, 15 completed the challenge, finishing the semester with a 100% score on all practice questions!

Students were presented with a certificate of achievement by Dr. Brandon Whittington, Assistant Professor of Psychology and Dr. Terry Kite, Associate Dean of School of Business, Social Sciences and Public Services, to celebrate this amazing accomplishment! Pictured below from left to right, Dr. Whittington, Ryker Williams, Nikki Garret, Kaitlyn Kelly, and Dr. Kite. Several students completed the challenge but were unable to participate in the photo: Chloe Burgard, Cathryn Carron, Conrad Dickmann, Haley DiMercurio, Emma Harris, Grace Holdinghausen, Dawson Little, Delainy Napier, Mallorey Rogers, Mackenzie Statler, and Luke Valleck.
