Greetings, My name is Dan Parker inventer a unique wind turbine called the SpiralAirFoil Wind Turbine. Today's tri-blades have several drawbacks, they are 30-31% efficient while the SpiralAirFoil has achieved 48.8% efficiency. Complications of design are also a problem, while the modern tri-blades use expensive gearing, which wears out we have sought a direct drive approach, think of Henry Ford and the simple yet durable Model T car, using minimal tools to build and maintain. Other issues that needed to be addressed was the noise factor, many people near the modern tri-blade wind farms complain about the Thump, flutter noise, these subtle noises over time have proven to have a negative effect upon the human psyche, many people complain about this issue, the SpiralAirFoil Wind Turbine was designed for silence. The traditional tri-blades of today also lead to many deaths of Birds and Bats as the tip speeds move faster then the Bats and Birds can see, by the time they do, it's too late.. The SpiralAirFoil was designed with art in mind and the Gals love it and the Men folk just seem to gawk in amazement. There is more energy in higher winds, however they are far less frequent then lower winds, seeking the sweet spot between the highs and lows is just why the SpiralAirFoil Concept was developed, mastering the slightest winds, allows the SpiralAirFoil a far greater foot print geographically at producing usable day to day power. By their very nature, the Traditional Tri-Blades are self limiting to only the highest wind areas, the SpiralAirFoil operates outside this self limiting zone of "high winds" into areas below this constraint, in other words, the SpiralAirFoil design is more efficient and opens up a whole new and potentially huge market.
