Making waves and changing lives! 💙💛

Yesterday, the Nu Mu Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. proudly hosted our annual Swim 1922 event, and it was a tremendous success! From water safety education to building confidence in and around the water, we were honored to impact our community while continuing our commitment to service.

A special thank you to the Liberty County/Armed Services YMCA for their partnership and support in helping make this event possible. We are grateful for the opportunity to work together to promote water safety and provide valuable resources to our community.

Thank you to all of our participants, volunteers, partners, and supporters who contributed to a successful day. Together, we are helping create safer swimmers, stronger families, and a stronger community—one splash at a time!

What an incredible experience of learning, healing, and uplifting one another at our “Golden Glow: Rhoyal Experience to Well-Being” workshop. 💙💛

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing presenters — Soror Hicks, Soror Swan, Soror Lewis, and Soror Lawrence — for sharing such powerful and impactful conversations on mental health, children’s mental wellness, and Black maternal healthcare. Your knowledge, compassion, and authenticity truly made a difference.

We also thank every participant who joined us virtually and engaged in these important discussions surrounding self-care, advocacy, support systems, and breaking stigmas within our communities.
