WFD had a great time at the 2026 NMOGA Annual Meeting!

We connected with industry partners, met new people, built relationships, and advocated for the importance of workforce training.

Thank you to the oil & gas industry for all you do for our state and New Mexico Junior College! We’re proud to support the workforce that keeps New Mexico moving.

An investment is only as meaningful as what you do with it.

Last week, we were thrilled to welcome Debra Richmond, Director of Road Safety, and Heather Brewer, New Mexico Government Relations Liaison with the Permian Strategic Partnership, to NMJC WFD to see firsthand what their investment in our Transportation Training program has produced.

PSP trusted us with an important investment—and we did exactly what we said we would do. We met the metrics, built the capacity, and put the funding to work creating opportunities for students and meeting the workforce needs of our region.

Most importantly, Debra and Heather got to meet the people who make it happen every day: our outstanding Transportation Training department and Workforce Development team.

Thank you, PSP, for believing in NMJC and investing in Southeast New Mexico. We are proud of what we have built together.
