Requirements:
- Enroll at one of our 7 partner colleges: Chicago State University, Governors State University, Moraine Valley Community College, Morton College, Olive-Harvey College, Prairie State College or Richard J. Or, enroll in one of 10 affiliate institutions listed on the CRCP website, www.crcprogram.com.
- Be hired as a package handler at the UPS Hodgkins, IL facility for an average of 3.
5 to 5 hours per night, Monday through Friday and be available during the following hours: Sunrise Shift (4:00am - 10:00am) Night Shift (10:00pm - 3:00am)
- Students must be at least 17 years of age by the start of the program.

To be a part of the Chicagoland Regional College Program, you must be employed by the UPS Chicago Area Consolidation Hub in Hodgkins, IL. All CRCP student employees will be initially hired as package handlers. In this job, you will be loading (or unloading) packages from UPS trailers. During your shift, you will be expected to load or unload parcels weighing up to a maximum of 70 pounds, with an average weight of approximately 20 pounds. The shifts are between 3.5 and 6 hours Monday - Friday, although overtime may be required at times. Based on job performance, CRCP students are eligible for consideration for promotion to part-time supervisor.
