Join us for one or all of our 2026 home canning classes! Each class will take place at the Habersham County Extension office, from 4pm-6:30pm. Your $30 registration fee includes all materials. You must pre-register, either online at tinyurl.com/HabCan2026 or by calling 706-754-2318.

The Banks County 4-H Archery Team competed at the State Outdoor 4-H Archery Competition at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton, Georgia, on Saturday, May 2, 2026. This 4-H competition had over 600 archers compete from across the State of Georgia.

Banks County 4-H Archery Placings—
Cloverleaf Recurve Individual: Annastyn Meeks, 1st Place
Junior Compound Team: Micah Tate Milford, Colten Hodges, Jonas Canada, and Evie Hamby, 3rd Place
Senior Recurve Individual: Brett English, 3rd Place
Senior Compound Team: Cannon Holloway, Nova Aguilar, Elijah Ariail, and Logan Ferguson, 1st Place

We are so proud of our archery competitors! We will have FOUR archers representing Banks County at the NATIONAL 4-H Competition next week in Nebraska! We are so excited and proud of this accomplishment!

The 4-H Volunteer Coaches, parents, and kids are phenomenal and truly define the word “team.” We cannot wait to see what great things they will accomplish during the 2026-2027 archery season! 🍀
