Hope everyone has been training, carb-loading, and hydrating for the 1K! We would hate to see cramps during the race, but if you do, don't worry. Ethan Howard, Phillip Ketcham, Chris Matthews, Sam Rogers, and Gunnar Patrick will be lining the race and waiting for you with cold, refreshing cups of water. Don't forget to come by Ben Brown this week to register for the race and buy a shirt! All proceeds will go directly to the purchase of shoes for children in Dominica. Can't wait to see everyone Thursday afternoon!

Directions to WHITE TRASH BASH

Traveling east on Hwy 280 (that’s the green road and yes, I know, on the map it looks more like you’re going south) it is precisely 4.8 miles from Hwy 119 (Cahaba Valley Road) to County Road 43 (Bear Creek Road). Co. Rd. 43 has a big-time traffic signal with flashing yellow warning lights two-tenths of a mile before you get to it. Turn right on Co. Rd. 43 and go about 3/10 mile to the entrance to Yellowleaf Farm. It will be on the right and well marked.

Once inside the gate, park your vehicle in the area marked-off by the Knights of Sigma Nu. Whereupon you will, on foot, follow the yellow chirt road. Then over the river and through the woods to “The Happening Place”
