University of Hawaii Insect Museum Our strengths lie in native fruit flies and Lepidoptera. UHIM is also a member of the UH Museum consortium.

The University of Hawaii Insect Museum is a research collection focusing on the terrestrial arthropods of Hawaii and the pacific, including both native and introduced species. The University of Hawaii Insect Museum is a research facility that is part of the Department of Plant & Environmental Protection Sciences of the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources at UH- Manoa.
