✨ Senior Spotlight: Kenzie Kahale-Alexander ✨
Kenzie is graduating with a degree in Information and Computer Sciences – Linguistics, with a double major in Hawaiian Studies and a minor in Hawaiian Language. At Hamilton Library, she worked in the Hawaiian Collection and previously in the Preservation Department. 📚🌺
One of Kenzie’s most memorable experiences was cataloging information on scrolls. She had the unique opportunity to carefully unroll and measure each one while learning how to document and organize materials beyond traditional books. It was an unexpected experience that gave her valuable insight into the many different forms library materials can take.
Mahalo, Kenzie, for all of your hard work and contributions to Hamilton Library. Wishing you the very best in all that comes next! 🌟

From freshman year to graduation, Kim Gomez Yting has been a part of the Hamilton Library ʻohana every step of the way.🌈🌈🌈🌈

Majoring in Psychology with a Minor in Business Administration, Kim worked in Library Administration, where she supported daily operations and helped keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. As her very first job, her time at Hamilton Library became more than just work. It became a place of growth, connection, and meaningful experiences.

“One of the most memorable parts of working here was being surrounded by such kind and supportive staff members while learning how to navigate a professional environment,” Kim shared.

Working alongside Kim has been such a joy, and we will truly miss her in the office. Mahalo, Kim, for your dedication, positivity, and all that you brought to Hamilton Library over the years. We wish you nothing but success in all that comes next. 🌟
