Free database trial! The Library is currently conducting a 14-day trial of Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Birds of the World:
-Deepen your understanding of manu & their behavior
-Explore manu of Hawaiʻi & other regions

The library is closed on: Thursday, March 26th, in celebration of Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole Piʻikoi’s birthday. ❓ Did you know? Queen Kapiʻolani is Prince Kūhiō’s aunt. Prince Kūhiō’s mother, Victoria Kinoiki Kekaulike, is Queen Kapiʻolani’s sister, and the Queen hānai-ed the prince after his mother’s passing. This Thursday, and any day you think of our aliʻi, call to mind the following ʻŌlelo Noʻeau ( #369): E ʻōpū aliʻi. Have the heart of a chief.
