Students and faculty from Hokusei Gakuen University from Hokkaido, Japan, along with faculty members from Sapporo Gakuin University, Health Sciences University of Hokkaido, and Saku University from Nagano, Japan, visited the HPU School of Social Work. The group attended BSW classes (SWRK 3900 and SWRK 4910) to get to know one another and learn about social work practices from each other.

The group also visited YWCA Laniakea, Kōkua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Family Services, Legal Aid Society of Hawaiʻi, Ka Papa Loʻi o Kānewai, Kinai 'Eha, Olomana School, RYSE and Save This World.
