UH Ocean & Resources Engineering

UH Ocean & Resources Engineering Department of Ocean and Resources Engineering in the School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Welcome to the Department of Ocean and Resources Engineering at the University of Hawaii. Our graduate program was established by Dr. Charles Bretschneider in 1966, one of the first of its kind in the United States. The Department offers an academic program leading to the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in three disciplines: coastal engineering, offshore engineering, and ocean r

esources engineering. The faculty members are known nationally and internationally for their research and educational work. Our students come from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds with the common objective to apply their prior education and work experience to ocean-related engineering careers.
