✨ A night to honor leadership, celebrate alumni and support the future of Shidler.

More than 400 guests gathered at the Sheraton Waikīkī on Oct. 8 for the 34th Shidler College of Business Hall of Honor Awards, celebrating four outstanding alumni whose leadership, accomplishments and service continue to make an impact in Hawaiʻi and beyond.

Thanks to the generosity of our alumni, sponsors, business partners and friends, this year’s event raised more than $400,000 to support student programs, scholarships, faculty research, alumni engagement and other college initiatives.

🌟 Feature Friday: Eddie Flores Jr, BBA ’70, and Roland Casamina, BBA ’76

Eddie and Roland are featured in the September/October 2026 issue of Generations Magazine, which highlights the Filipino Community Center in Waipahu and the leaders who helped bring that vision to life.

Their generosity has also made a lasting impact at Shidler. Eddie and his wife, Elaine, established a $2 million funded scholarship and the college’s Real Estate Lecture Series, and the Eddie and Elaine Flores, Jr. Courtyard is named in recognition of their support.

Roland and his wife, Evelyn, have contributed more than $350,000 to Shidler, supporting scholarships and the Roland and Evelyn Casamina House of Finance Undergraduate Student Leadership Center.
