Human Nutrition, Food and Animal Sciences Department at UH-Manoa Welcome to the Department of Human Nutrition, Food & Animal Sciences. HNFAS programs span from human and animal nutrition, animal and food sciences in Nutrition.

The Department of Human Nutrition, Food, and Animal Sciences is an academic unit of the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. It has three undergraduate academic programs, Animal Sciences, Dietetics, Food Science and Human Nutrition. It also is home to four graduate programs: MS in Nutritional Sciences, MS in Food Science, MS in Animal Sciences

and Ph.D. Faculty include faculty members in Animal Sciences, Human Nutrition, Food Science and Cooperative Extension, in both livestock and human nutrition. Most of the faculty are located on the main UH Campus in the Agricultural Sciences Bldg but faculty are also stationed at Cooperative Extension offices on Hawaii Island, Maui and Kauai.

Nicole Pono Correa graduated with an MS in Animal Sciences in HNFAS. She is now a livestock extension agent for Clemson University, and serves Calhoun, Lexington and Orangeburg Counties.
