Trachelle Iwamoto, our outstanding undergraduate commencement speaker, shared her vulnerable story and moved us all to tears 💙

Born and raised in Kapaʻa, Kauaʻi, she spent her four years at Chaminade University embracing her differences and growing into the powerful leader we know today.

Trachelle graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice, with minors in Education and Psychology. She truly embodies what it means to be a Silversword. Strong, determined, and deeply caring.

We wish her nothing but the best as she begins her next chapter. Wherever she goes, we know she will continue to flourish and grow.
