Lead the only Indigenous knowledge college at a Research 1 university.

The Hawaiʻinuiākea School of Hawaiian Knowledge is seeking a visionary leader to serve as our next Dean. This is more than an administrative role; it is a global opportunity to steward one of the most significant hubs of Indigenous scholarship in higher education.

The mission of Hawai‘inuiākea is to pursue, perpetuate, research, and revitalize Hawaiian knowledge, including Hawaiian language, history, arts, sciences, literature, religion, politics, medicine, and cultural practices. The School approaches this mission from Kānaka Maoli perspectives that recognize the holistic nature of this knowledge, its many forms, and its contemporary applications.

Hawaiʻinuiākea is looking for a Dean who can navigate the complexities of a top-tier research institution while remaining deeply rooted in the values of our ancestral knowledge and the needs of the lāhui.
